Overview
Titanium Electrodes
Caustic chlorine industries play a major role in producing viscose rayons and chlorine derivatives. Use of graphite electrodes for chlor-alkali production were replaced by activated titanium electrodes (TSIA) due to their long life, low power consumption, resistance to corrosion and better caustic chlorine quality.
At Yo Engineering, we manufacture, coat and recoat Titanium electrodes in the forms of louvers, meshes, plates and rods that can be used in a wide variety of industrial applications such as sea water-, drinking water- and swimming pool disinfection. Following a robust manufacturing procedure coupled with a dedicated QC lab, we ensure a service life spanning from 5 years to 8+ years based on the type of coating.
Types of Ti Electrode Coatings
- Triple oxide
- Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO)
- Iridium oxide (IrO2)
- Platinum-Iridium oxide (Pt-IrO2)
- Platinum plating
- Iridium-Tantalum (IrO2-Ta2O5)
- RuO2 on Ni cathodes
High Electrical Efficiency
Designed for superior conductivity and stable electrochemical performance, titanium electrodes ensure efficient current distribution for industrial electrolysis and water treatment applications while reducing energy consumption and operational downtime.
Corrosion Resistant Structure
Manufactured with premium-grade titanium and advanced MMO coating, these electrodes offer excellent resistance against corrosion, harsh chemicals, and saline environments, ensuring long-lasting durability and reliable performance.
Reliable Industrial Performance
Engineered for continuous industrial operation, titanium electrodes provide consistent output in chlorine generation, electroplating, cathodic protection, and wastewater treatment systems with minimal maintenance requirements.
